Cambridgeshire has many different attractions for all ages, but what is best to do as a collective family? Well in Part 1 of my newest blog I have some great ideas for you, so don’t worry about getting bogged down with the planning because this will have you covered!

Planet Ice Arena

Planet Ice Arena is a public Ice Skating rink which I can personally vouch for. Countless hours of fun with both friends and family makes for the perfect day out. The rink hosts all different levels of ability, so you’ll be sure to fit right in!

If you’re going with young children, be sure to explore the Penguin Club scheme which boasts fun ice skating activities for youngers from 18 months to five years old, s great saver option!

Hamerton Zoo

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to Hamerton Zoo.. Having such a vast variety of animals from all four corners of the Earth in Cambridgeshire is a wonderful opportunity for us all to go and learn, and see these wonderful creatures. The zoo also has a railroad train, that runs from the donkey stables to the tiger  enclosure, play areas, a picnic area and a coffee shop. So Hamerton Zoo has you covered for the day!

There are also ‘animal contact sessions’ where for an extra fee you can get up close and personal with the cheetahs, tigers, lemurs and reptiles! A truly unforgettable experience.
