Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the GoToCambridge Platform.  

This website is operated by GoToCambridge. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to GoToCambridge. GoToCambridge offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. 

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website/service. By using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. 

You may not use our Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). 

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services. 

Section 1

GoToCambridge Services

1.1 GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
1.2
GoToCambridge is an online platform whereby a service is provided to Hosts and Guests. We enable property owners who seek the ability to list their property as short or long term accommodation on an effortless platform whereby they gain guests through the service we provide. The property listed allows guest to book this as (short or long term) accommodation, together the services. In order to become a host and start listing your property, you will need to register as a member on the GoToCambridge Platform. Once registered as a host, you will be accepting these Terms of Service and be legally bound by them. If you wish to Cancel/Deactivate your membership as a Host, please refer to section 6.3b. Guests proceeding to book accommodation will be accepting these Terms of service and be legally bound by them. 
1.3
GoToCambridge Terms of Services govern the relationship between GoToCambridge and Hosts/Guests or any other individuals which choose to access and use the site. This includes property owner’s listings their property as accommodation (short or long term) and the Guests who are in search for the listed properties to book as (short or long term) accommodation. 
1.4
GoToCambridge does not own, sell, manage or list any of the properties listed for accommodation. GoToCambridge is a Platform to provide a service to hosts who own or manage properties to be listed for guests. 
1.5
Prices for our commission and of host accommodation are subject to change. However, you will be notified of this with a 4 week notice before the implementation is set to take place. We and Hosts reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Section 2
Eligibility of the use of GoToCambridge Services
2.1 
In order to use the GoToCambridge Platform and have access to our services, you must be 18 years old and over. If this legally binding contract is accepted by minors under the age of 18 when registered, you will be in breach of this legally binding contract and your account will be immediately deleted by a member of the GoToCambridge Team. Any property, reviews and ratings that is listed under your account will deleted/removed. By entering and using the GoToCambridge Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years old and over and have the capacity and authority to enter into legal contracts. 
2.2
GoToCambridge strive to ensure that registered users are legitimate and of accurate description to ensure that we at GoToCambridge, Hosts or Guests are not being deceived. In order to be eligible to be a registered user, the information we require needs to be true. If they are found not to be true, you will be in breach of this legally binding contract and your account will be deleted immediately. Any property, reviews and ratings that is listed under your account will deleted/removed. False information provided will be stored for our references and future instance whereby the information is used again. GoToCambridge Ltd uses authentication methods to ensure registering and registered users are of accurate nature. The process of payment is there to protect those making the booking and to ensure the hosts has listed a legitimate property belonging to themselves. 

Section 3
Registering an Account
3.1 
In order to gain access to GoToCambridge services as a Property owner, you must register an account on our platform. Once you have registered an account with us, features such as listing will become available. if you choose to accept these Terms of Service, you’ll be accepting these Terms as a Host and are legally bounded to them, complying to each section. 

Section 4 
Content 
4.1 
GoToCambridge will ensure that any content such as images, videos, text or audio that is uploaded to the GoToCambridge Platform is reviewed before going live on the website. By monitoring the content that is uploaded onto the website, we are making sure content is suitable for all users who are viewing the site and at GoToCambridge; we want to ensure the journey from start to finish is pleasant and enjoyable. We want to provide the best content to our Guests and show potential hosts the high standard that we expect. 
4.2 
If GoToCambridge Ltd comes across content that may cause others harm and distress in the form of text, videos, audio, and images, you will be removed from the website and your registered account will be removed. Any reviews and ratings you have will be deleted along with your account, as you will be in breach of the GoToCambridge Terms of Service Content Policy. 
4.3 
Content sent to GoToCambridge Ltd that we choose to upload; you are granting GoToCambridge to use this content to promote your listing and the GoToCambridge Platform. Any content you choose to want to remove can be done so through your registered account – GoToCambridge will no longer publish the content on the website to promote the GoToCambridge Platform. GoToCambridge ensures copyright law is followed by both you and the GoToCambridge Platform. Any content you believe infringes copyrights you own; please contact us immediately through a detailed email to admin@GoToCambridge.co.uk. 

Section 5 
Service Fees 
5.1 
GoToCambridge aims to provide the best prices for both Guests and Hosts. The prices of each booking are shown in total with a breakdown of each area. Service charges will not be applied to Guests; this will ensure you are getting the best prices during your search for accommodation; however, Hosts may include their service fees etc., cleaning fee, and damages fee/deposits into their pricing. 
5.2 
Hosts will be charged based on commission rate of the bookings made from their listings. We aim to provide the best and most reasonable rates possible. Please see below for rates: 
Commission rate: Flat rate of 8%. 

Section 6 
Terms for Hosts 
6.1 
As a registered host, all listings provided need to be accurate and not including any false information, this includes your property, details about the property, details of the area, attractions, services available that you say you provide and availability of your property. Any defects, issues, house rules or necessary laws the Guests needs/may want to know need to be provided on your listing. You are responsible for keeping your listings including your property availability up to date. Guests that book accommodation that is already taken when arrived will be refunded their money.
6.2 
In order for GoToCambridge Ltd to ensure the properties listed are genuine, properties go through a validation process. Once the validation process has been passed, your property will be verified. We validate accounts based on the Guests approval of the property when they arrive at the accommodation. During the period between the Guest booking the accommodation and the Guest arriving at your listed accommodation, we will hold all payments until the Guests check-in and confirm through the GoToCambridge Platform, therefore confirming the property is genuine. Once they confirm this, we process your payment minus GoToCambridge's set commission to your registered bank account. 

Section 6.3a 
Listing accommodation
6.3a 
To list your property, you have to be a Registered Host on the GoToCambridge Ltd Website. To register please find the 'Sign up/Login' button, on the top right hand corner on any page on our website. You will need agree to these Terms of Service before proceeding to list your property. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you will not be eligible to use the GoToCambridge Ltd Platform/Services. It is completely possible that we may request a random visit to the property to check the account/property legitimacy. This will be a random request which will be requested at least 48 hours prior. It is also possible we may call a new host, randomly, to confirm identification. 
6.4a 
As a registered Host, you have agreed to these Terms of Service. You are legally bound to them and have agreed that you will list genuine property and described them as they are. We understand you need to sell your accommodation, but, it is in the best interest of yours and the Guests that you describe the accommodation as it is, including all the faults that the accommodation may have. 

Section 6.3b
Cancellation of Host membership 
6.3b 
For whatever reason you no longer want to be listing your property as accommodation, to stop Guests from booking your accommodation, you will need to make your account inactive. By doing this, your properties will no longer be made public. To do this, you will need to email info@GoToCambridge.co.uk. To re-activate your account, you simply need to email admin@GoToCambridge.co.uk and request to activate your account, once it has been activated, your properties will be made public again for Guests to start booking. 
6.4b 
If you no longer want to use the GoToCambridge Platform/Services, you will need to delete your account. By doing so, you will not be able to get your account back, you will need to create a new one if wanting to re-join the GoToCambridge Platform again. If decide to delete your account, please be advised that by doing so, your validity will no longer be valid and will need to go through the same process of validating you and your properties again if you decide to re-join. 

Section 7 
Terms for Guests/Renters Booking
7.1
Bookings are all done through the GoToCambridge Platform. Guests are able to book accommodation they choose. You are directly responsible for any bookings that you do make. Any bookings that are incorrect, will need to be cancelled or modified to ensure the Hosts are aware of any modifications you’ve made. Any modifications made to bookings, you are agreeing to pay any Fees the Host have stated within their terms. To Avoid any Fees, the host may have allowances for modification to booking, cancel the booking and re-book, but please be aware that the dates you’ve chosen may not be available. We are not responsible for any bookings made incorrectly and not modified before arriving at the accommodation, this is at your own risk. For modifications please see Section 9.1. 

Section 8 
Cancellation & Refunds 
8.1 
To receive a full refund, you will need to cancel the booking of your accommodation within the set cancellation policy hours, which is 48 hours prior to your arrival date. If you do not cancel 48 hours prior, a 10% charge from the cost of the total booking will be automatically deducted from the booking cost for late notice admin fees.To cancel a booking, email admin@GoToCambridge.co.uk quoting your booking reservation number, then we will ensure your booking is cancelled. 
8.2
If you have booked within the 48 hour period of arrival date, you are not entitled to a full refund. 20% charge from the cost of the total booking will be automatically deducted from the booking cost for admin fees. 

Section 9
Booking modifications 
9.1 
Booking modifications can be made during the process of booking your accommodation, or after you have paid for your accommodation, however this is depending on the Hosts Terms. If you decide you need to make modifications to your booking, please read the Hosts Terms on modification to Bookings Prior to booking their accommodation. We are not liable to any incorrect bookings made whereby the Hosts Terms state you cannot modify nor are we liable to money you cannot be refunded in terms of modifications due to the Hosts Terms. By Accepting these Terms and Booking accommodation, you will ensure and agree that you have reviewed the Hosts Terms and Agreed to them. 

Section 10
Host & Guest Payment for bookings
10.1
At GoToCambridge, we like to ensure both Hosts and Guests are secure & safe in all aspects, especially with your money. Full payment for the booking made by the guests will be transferred directly to GoToCambridge to ensure hosts receives their booking money & in an event of cancellations prior to the 48 hours’ policy agreement, the guests receives their full refund. By Accepting these Terms, you have confirmed you have reviewed and accepted

Section 11
Accommodation Damages 
11.1 
GoToCambridge wants to ensure that all parties are fully protected. To ensure Hosts are compensated for any damages that occurs during your stay at their accommodation, they may implement a damage insurance policy into their listing. This damage insurance deposit will be kept by us during your stay and transferred back to your registered bank account, however, if the host confirms that there are damages, this will be investigated fairly and if we confirm the damages to be true, the deposit will be transferred to the Host to cover the damages.

Section 12
Law & Local Law
12.1
GoToCambridge strongly require both host and guests to abide by the Laws of United Kingdom and local laws of Cambridge. This is not the responsibility of GoToCambridge to ensure this is being followed. Should you be hosting in Cambridge, it is imperative and in your best interests as a responsible host to ensure you are abiding by the law of the country and local law of Cambridge in every aspect. This goes with the guests too. The guest, when travelling, must ensure they respect and abide by the laws of the United Kingdom and local law of Cambridge. 

Section 13 
Taxes
13.1
Hosts are ultimately responsible for calculating and determining their obligations towards taxes. This is through applicable VAT, or other indirect sales taxes, tourist or occupancy tax or standard income tax. Tax regulations may require GoToCambridge to collect and collate appropriate tax information from our hosts or to hold taxes from pay-outs to hosts, or in some instances, both. We reserve the right to freeze all pay-outs, withhold such amounts as required by law or both should the documentation was we receive from you if required by the tax regulations be deemed insufficient. 
13.2
You understand and agree that any relevant government agency, authority or department (with Tax authority) in which your accommodation is located withholds the right to require the taxes be collected from Guests or Hosts on listing fees to be remitted to the tax authority in question. These laws in specific jurisdictions may vary but these taxes may be required to be collected and remitted at a percentage of the listing fees set by the hosts themselves. 
13.3 
You agree that any cause of action or claim relating to GoToCambridge’s facilitation of collection and remittance of Occupancy taxes will not extend to any vendor or supplier that may be used by GoToCambridge in connection and collaboration with facilitation of collection and remittance, if any. Guests and hosts both agree that we may seek additional amounts from yourselves in the event that the taxes collected or remitted are insufficient to fully discharge our obligations to the tax authority in question, and you agree that the sole remedy for your occupancy taxes collected is a refund of the occupancy taxes collected by GoToCambridge from the tax authority in question in line with the applicable procedures set by the specific tax authority. 
13.4 
GoToCambridge reserve the right, with notice to hosts beforehand, to cease any collection and remittance in any jurisdiction for any reason at which point either guest or host are once again themselves responsible and liable for the collection, remittance or both of any/all occupancy taxes that may apple to accommodations/listings in that specific area.

Section 14
Changes to Terms of Service 
14.1
You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of our website or Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Section 15
Termination of Terms
15.1
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

Section 16
Disclaimers and Liability

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable. You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement. In no case shall GoToCambridge, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Section 17
Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and defend GoToCambridge and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

Section 18
Payment Services ‘Use of’
18.1
GoToCambridge Payments operate through a Payments service to members, fulfilling the Payment from Guest to Host in connection and through GoToCambridge’s platform.
18.2
GoToCambridge retain the right to restrict any method of payment service(s) to carry out changes, be that maintenance or general functionality improvements to better aid the user of the GoToCambridge platform.
18.3
Your accessibility or use of specific payment services may be subject to your acceptance of third party terms and conditions. If there is an issue between the GoToCambridge Payment Policies and the third party terms and conditions, the latter terms and conditions will take first precedence with regards to your use of or access to the Payment service in question, unless agreed otherwise.

Section 19
Key Definitions
19.1
Booking Currency – This is the default currency in which the guest will pay for their booking. The guest will be able to view the booking currency when selecting a date for their stay.
Total Payment – This is the total amount for the entirety of the booking. Paid by the guest. 
GoToCambridge Payment – This is the payment from GoToCambridge to the host for the amount due to the host once GoToCambridge have calculated and reduced agreed commission rate.
Payment Method – This will be the payment method paid by the guest to GoToCambridge. PayPal or bank transfer via Direct debit or credit card. Section 20 Modification of the Payment Policy.
19.2
GoToCambridge retains the right to modify the Payment Policies at any time in accordance with this provision. If GoToCambridge make changes to their Payment Policy, we will publish these as the “Up to date” followed by the date at the top of the Payment Policy. We will also provide you with 1-month notice (30 days) prior to the updated Payment Policy taking effect. If you do not agree with the Payment Policy provided, you may terminate the agreement with immediate effect should you wish. Your continued use of the GoToCambridge service will demonstrate acceptance of the updated Payment Policies.

Section 20
Eligibility
20.1
You are required to be of at least 18 years of age to enter into GoToCambridge’s legally binding contracts to use our Payment Services. By using the Payment services, you warrant that you are of at least 18 years of age. 

Section 21
Accounts
21.1
For you to use the GoToCambridge listing services, you are required to have a GoToCambridge account. If your account has been closed (be that by either yourself or GoToCambridge) you will no longer be eligible to use the Payment Services. 

Section 22
Total Payment, GoToCambridge Payment and Payment Method(s)
22.1
When a Payment method has been added to your GoToCambridge account, you will be required to send through customary billing information for verification. This is to ensure details are correct such as name, address and financial method information either for GoToCambridge or its third-party payment processors.
22.2
You must provide the most accurate, up-to-date and complete information when adding a payment method and it is your due obligation to ensure this is up-to-date at all times during your times of use of the GoToCambridge platform. 
22.3
For bank payments we will require: Your address, Full name on the account, Account Type, Sort Code and Account Number.
22.4 
For PayPal we will require: Your address, Full name on the account and Payment Currency.
22.5
When a specific payment method has been chosen by the guest and paid to GoToCambridge as per the Payment Process, GoToCambridge will then process this payment in the same method, and send the funds through to the host, in turn matching the preferred payment method of the guest.
22.6
Please note that GoToCambridge Payments and Payment Methods may involve the use of third party payment service providers. These could incur additional fees. We invite you to full read and understand the terms and conditions involved with regards to your payment methods.
22.7 
You are fully responsible for the accuracy and completion of your GoToCambridge Payment and Payment method information. GoToCambridge is not responsible for any loss suffered as a result of incorrect Payment information provided by you.

Section 23
The Process 
Please find below the process how GoToCambridge will process the payments from a Guest, to the host. 
Step 1: Guest books Stay using one of the ‘Payment Methods’.
Step 2: Payment is received and processed by GoToCambridge Payments. 
Step 3: GoToCambridge reduce agreed commission rate (See terms for rates) from ‘Total Payment’.
Step 4: GoToCambridge initiate ‘GoToCambridge Payment’ to be paid to the host.
Step 5: ‘GoToCambridge Payment’ is received by the host. In order for the payment to be received by GoToCambridge Payments, the host will need to ensure their payment methods are up to date and are valid. GoToCambridge Payments will usually begin the GoToCambridge Payment on the day of the guests agreed arrival.

Cancellations and Refunds - Please refer to the Terms of Service for all information on cancellations and refunds – Section 8.1

Section 25
Currency Conversion
25.1 
GoToCambridge will deal solely in Pounds (GBP £). However, when booking from a different country, GoToCambridge will convert the price to suit your current currency based on your location at present. 

Section 26
Forbidden Activities
26.1 
You are solely responsible for full compliance of all laws, rules, tax obligations and regulations that may apply to yourself or to your use of the Payment Services from GoToCambridge. In connection with this, you agree that you will not assist individuals with: 
- Breaching any applicable laws, regulations, agreements with third parties, or the GoToCambridge Terms or Policies.
- Use the Payment Services for any commercial purpose that are not permitted by this Payment Policy.
- Register or operate with any Payment Method that doesn’t belong to you.
- Take any action that damages the performance or functionality of the GoToCambridge Payment Service.
- Attempt to disassemble, decipher or reverse engineer the software used to provide the GoToCambridge Payment Service. Contact and Feedback We welcome feedback at all times at GoToCambridge.
